Mt.Kinabalu也称之为”神山”,位于马来西亚沙巴州,是马来西亚最高的一座山,拥有海拔4059m。Mt.Kinabalu also known as “God Mountain” which located in Malaysia Sabah state, the highest mount in malaysia with 4095m above sea level.

2015年和2018年两次登山的向导都是这位阿姨,样子没什么改变但是她的脚已经严重弯曲成O型脚了,可能是因为常年负重登山,他们赚的钱不容易啊~都是血汗钱。

what a coincident, I met this aunty for my 2015 & 2018 hike, she still look the same, but both of her leg banded became “O” shape,properly she was overweight carry for hiking all year round, I can see their job is not easy.

2015年登山的遗憾是来不及日出前登顶,2018年的遗憾是日出被晕遮挡!相信还会有第三次。

The setback for my year 2015 hike was too late to reach the peak before sunrise. Another setback in year 2018 hike, I’m still not able to see the sunrise because of the buddy cloud.

Mt.Kinabalu的登山准备可以很随性,但有一些物品觉得是挺重要的, 那就是保暖手套,头套,口罩和能量饮料。因为在半山登顶的时间是半夜凌晨2点左右,身体处于半睡半醒的状态出发登山,如果遇到温度较低的季节,山上的寒冷是会非常刺骨,所以手掌,颈项,鼻子嘴巴耳朵都需要保护好。能量饮料是我的心得,因为半夜一开始有很长一段路是楼梯,天气冷加上没有热身 会很吃力,所以我第二次爬的时候特地准备一种日本牌子的能量jelly,在新加坡fairprice能够买到,这个饮料提前30分钟喝会大大降低气喘和肌肉酸的层度。

Mt.Kinabalu trekking preparation can be simple and easy, but there are several items which i feel quite important such as glove,cap,mask and energy supplement. The reason is because we will be start trekking to the peak at around 2am and we are still in half-asleep condition, in case of low temperature season we’ll be feel the cold of pain,do protect your palm,nose,mouth ear and neck. The need of engergy supplement is completely from my personal experience, it help to boost up our stamina and muscle, because there will a long distance of staircase when start hiking from Lapan Rata,the first 30-60mins hike will be the tough time before body getting warm.

注意事项!Precaution!

一定要穿长裤爬山,因为气温会越来越冷,我们脚的肌肉接触冷空气会很容易脚抽筋。而且休息时间也不能太长,别让热身好了的身体又冷却下来。Do remember hike with long pant from starting point to avoid cramp, the temperature will drop rapidly when get closer to Lapan Rata rest station. Try to avoid long break time during your hike, don’t let your body cold down.

很多体力好的人从山脚到半山可能只花了2-4个小时就搞定,看起来令人很羡慕 可是普通的登山者都会忽略掉”高山症“,高山症的症状轻微的只是头痛,严重的话会呼吸困难,头晕呕吐。建议慢慢走,尽量控制在5小时左右,让身体有时间调整。因为队里有一位朋友是muscle man运动员,到了半山他的高山症很严重 ,而我和另外三个队友也是因为太快到半山全部头痛,结果看到还有一些人跟我们一样在食堂坐着摸头 XD. 。You might be envy to those people who took 2-4 hours to reach up Lapan Rata rest station,and “Altitute Sickness” can be easily neglect by newbie or normal hiker. The symptom could be headach,dizzy,nausea,suffocate. Strongly suggest to hike with slower pace, try to make it around 5hours to let your body get used of the altitute level. Why do I mention about the altitute sickness is because one of my teammate fall into quite bad condition and I myself with another 2 of them got headach when we reach there less than 4 hours, and i can all the people sitting in canteen are playing their head XD.

在休息站的时候尽量不要冲凉,就算有热水也不要!我试过冷水冲凉,也试过冲热水 这两次的经验得到的结果就是 冲完凉出来整个人会很不舒服且整张脸发烫。可以的话抹身就好,清洗过后就一定要注意保暖,然后补充victamin C,能量水之类的,不然真的容易发烧感冒。我的第二次登山就有3-4个队友到了休息站梳洗过后就发烧了。Try not to shower in the rest station, even there is hot shower. I tried with cold & hot shower in Lapan Rata, neither one could make you feel uncomfortable and feel like fever. If possible try only with dry clean, and after all keep yourself warm and replenish yourself with victamin C or other supplement, otherwise will get fever easily. There are 3-4 of my teammate got fever after shower during my 2nd hike.

体力不佳的人需要勤劳一些,早一点准备好早一点从半山出发。如果在5am之前到不了上面的登记关卡,那么你只能在那边看看风景让后就下去休息站等吃早餐了。之后呢,你的登山文凭就只有黑和白,只有成功在关卡登记的人才有彩色文凭。For low physical fitness people try to get yourself ready as soon as possible during mid-night departure time. Because we’ll not allow to go beyond the reporting gate up there if we cant make it before 5am, if that really happen properly you could slowly to go down to enjoy your breakfast. After that your certificate will only contain of black & white ,and colourful certificate will only fr those hiker who go beyond the gate.
